30 seconds before,
I didn't get a joke
and kept waiting for a punch line.
20 seconds before,
I tried typing something,
but everything sounded too sarcastic.
10 seconds before,
it suddenly got very still
Like before a train wreck.
5 seconds more
of aimless panic
unable to stop what was coming.
And then,
"Talk to you later."
